Hip rotations and dForce Simulation

This is an old problem with animations which has now appeared with dForce simulations - when using "Start from Memorised Pose". Some (many) vendors who sell pose sets use hip rotations which are a curse when animating because often the whole figure will spin on its axis. I've tried to delete the hip rotations and mimic the pose using the root figure rotations but then what's the point of buying commercial pose sets?
The hip rotation thing has been discussed before and I had hoped that the PAs would take notice but no, they still sell them and I often only realise the problem after the 30 day return period.
