content instatllation help needed

Hello all.
I downloaded the new daz studio 4.6 about 3 months ago. the installation manager would not download for me. I have treid to manually install the content. but when I open the program, nothing shows up. I am so very frustrated. Also i cannot export object from Hexagon 2.5 into Daz

But first things first, does anyone have a good clean manual way of getting the content to show up?

If you are manually extracting from the zips, make sure you don't have a folder named "Content" underneath "My Library" (or whatever your content folder is called, if you didn't use the default). The files underneath "Content" in the zip need to go directly underneath your actual content folder.

I will try to explain the best I can. Thanks first of all. I cannot get a screen shot, that is why images are not attached (on pc Daz is on)

In the Program Files folder: there is DAZStudio 4, My Library and Content Management Service folders
Inside of the My Library folder are folders named
data -- has tons of folders and dll files etc
ReadMe's
Shader Presets
People -- has Genesis 2 female folder in it with poses, base, material, clothing
Runtime -- has support and textures folders

What version of Windows is this?

The program is installed on laptop with windows xp
