Martini glass poses not working...?

Hey everyone! Once again I fing myself in need of help (since google has deserted me) and I'm honestely stratingto think I'm just dumb because none of this makes sense to me... *sigh*
I got this pose/prop pack https://www.daz3d.com/z-martini-girls-prop-and-poses-for-genesis-3-and-8-female bu no matter what I do the poses are nothing like what's shown here.

In attachment I have the first pose from the link - you can see it's ridiculously different. I've tried parenting the martini glass, the model, adding the pose without the prop... It's really frustrating especially since I have so little time to work on my art and have to constantly ask for help lately...

    The poses are for Genesis 3 and Genesis 8. Your character seems to be the original Genesis, and therefore not compatible with the poses.

    Oh for the love of...! I've been working for days trying to categorize everything in daz and thought I had added the genesis 8 character *facepalm* Thank you so much! :)
