SHORT VERSION: Try turning off your Dome Map.
LONG VERSION: So since 4.12 came out Ive been having issues whereas even with a basic scene, sometimes a single figure, DAZ wants to switch to CPU drawing. This runs my CPU temp up and redlights my motherboard bogging down my rig and possibly damaging my hardware. Happen very quickly for every render. This is on an i7-7820x @ 3.6ghz, 32gb Ram, GTX1080 11gb (plenty Vram) (Latest Studio Drivers), Win64, non potato.
The logs only error warning was the "IRAY OPTICX No Longer Supported" message. (My thought was OpticX is only for the Newest NVIDIA RTX 20's series cards so I thought it might be a Coding Error with GTX 10 series beyond my capability to fix.)
Well its was still a nusance so I tried clearing the DAZ cache temp files as suggested on the support page. (this helped for a very hort time it seemed but still encounter the problem a little time later, so I was trying to make a habit of clearing the temps regularly but it was still happening)
I thought, ok well, what if its my render settings or draw settings. So I ditched my settings and reset all to default. (No No change)
HOWEVER, I did notice that my default Dome Map was the old RuinsB map and since I wasn't using it I turned it off setting it none, I could hear the strain come off the system as soon as I did, and unlocked cool new environment settings in the process.
I have been turning off the HDRI Map RuinsB when I start DAZ ever since and havent had a problem yet, until today, when I forgot to turn the map off and got the red light again. (note NVIDIA also did do a drvier update recently)
If anyone else is having this issue and using the old RuinsB map or other map try turning them off and see if this solves it for you. Would be good to have a second tester to help validate the source of the issue.

You have some issue with your system. I use HDRI's all the time without issues.
