Save a Morph via OBJ for a Gen3 Character - Fails
I made a morph of Aiko3 in Hex, I sent it back over the bridge, and got the dial (using reverse deformation) I am unable to create a Pose or Character Preset that will load on a new Aiko3. It makes a DSA file, and an icon, and is in the library but nothing happens when I open a new DS, Scenem add A3 ad select her, then double click the icon?
I then used hex to save it as an OBJ...loaded a new scene with A3, imported the OBJ via Morph Loader pro, dialed it up and it looks good...but again, anything I save out, does not work at all on a new A3???
Is this a bug in DS 4.6.1.33?
I am using the menu's File save-as deprecated Pose Preset or Character Preset...other menus seem to want a triax figure.
Any thoughts? (I asked in the Hex forum, but its really a DS issue...since via OBJ is not working either)

Does the BASE A3 have a open Channel for the morph to be injected into? Also check if is not trying to inject into a channel that is already loaded. I think when it is added by morph loader it defaults to a open channel but I'm not sure it saves out with the channel listed for a Gen3 or Gen4 figure.
I could be way off target here but it was all I could think of right now.
Presets don't save the morph deltas, you need to create an INJection PZ2 instead, in DS4 that means using the EXP exporter, and you need to do this with the !Aiko 3.cr2 as it's the only one with the empty channels you need.
OK, so the ExP exporter is new to me. I will look into it, and try to find a "how to" thanks!
Would you know if the injection PZ2 be distributable that it creates?
Thanks, though I could not figure that ExP Exporter out....for creating a distributable morph. :(
ExP exporter isn't going to help, directly, with Aiko 3 as only the fourth generation figures use ExP. What you need to do, though it's a pain, is probably export the modified A3 as a CR2 then cut out the morph data and paste it into a pz2 to inject into one of the existing channels supplied for custom morphs.
Hi Richard, thanks, that is exactly what I just did. (though I was posting at the popular Poser forum) since I forgot that DS could export a CR2. I used this link: link
I may give it try out of DS, so I don't have to keep switching programs...
