Autofit changes positon

Hi,

I had this issue already with some items... most times G3 works on G8, but for some reason made the creator this forced to a position or something.

Before the Autofit is complete, they are at the correct position (if I cancel it, it will be the same result as in Image 2).

Then I let them fit and they jump to the forced position.

is there a way to solve this with some clothes with that problem? The person is G8 in the standard-untouched A-Pose.

The socks have a Feet loader script, but I guess because the person is G8, the scrippt will not work :/

  • Are you actually doing the autofit as shown, without putting the correct values in the drop-downs for figure and item type? If so, that might be causing your problem.

You can often achieve better results than autofit does by following the instructions in this tutorial: https://www.deviantart.com/sickleyield/journal/Tutorial-Convert-Clothing-G3-to-G8-G8-to-G3-686682065 . Essentially, G3 and G8 are so like eachother that you just tell daz that a product made for one was actually made for the other. The only difficulty you have is switching between T and A poses.

Which product is it that you're trying to fit, by the way?

  • The footwear is landing where it would for a T posed figure. When using the auto-fit on G8 for G3, select the G3F_T_Pose, then they tend to stay on G8 ;-)

Are you sure you chose the correct figure from the dropdowns in the autofit? This sort of thing happens when you choose "Genesis 2 Female" on a G3 item or "Genesis 3 Female" on a G2 item. Try both "Genesis 2 Female" and "Genesis 3 Female" and see if one of them gives the correct result.

EDIT: I just tested fitting those socks to a G8 figure and it worked fine for me. I chose "Genesis 3 Female" and "Full Body".

It is very easy. The link for my autofit clones is in my signature. Download and install them ;-)
