Strange issue with D-former

Stumped on this one...

Trying to apply a D-former to the tutu portion of this...https://www.daz3d.com/party-monster-outfit-for-genesis-8-females

Field, base, and handle all come into the scene just fine.  but moving the handle does nothing.  No mesh points light up at all.  It as if the object has no mesh, but in wireframe mode I can clearly see the polygons.

D-former is working on other objects in scene normally.

Anyone have any insights?

The only requirement is that the D-Former be parented to the target item. The points on the mesh should highlight if any part of the D-Former is selected in the scene tab or viewport (base, field or controller).

Has the character (and therefore the dress fit to her) been posed? D-Formers can end up with the influence sphere points in the "wrong" place when used on a posed item. It is a very frustrating issue to deal with. You can use the D-Former with a weight map instead of the influence sphere. That might work better for you. Take a look at this old thread.

Have you tried ManFriday's Mesh Grabber? It may be easier to use, although not free like D-Formers.

The figure has been posed (that's why I'm using the d-former, to correct a collision problem)  I'll take a look at your suggestions.  Determined to solve this, lol.  Thank you.

Here's a thread on the Mesh Grabber. I've been using it, and it is really good for mesh translation. It doesn't do mesh rotation or mesh scaling. The PA may update it, or create add ons that have more capability, in the future. Some users have found a couple problems that the PA is fixing in an update. He has already posted a beta DLL for owners to use, to try the fixes before he releases the updated to Daz.

How does the return policy in daz work? I've never returned anything.

I'd love to try it if "trying" didn't actually just mean "buying and hoping its what I want"
