If you see a bundle or pro bundle and already own item in the bundle, do you get discounted for items already owned at purchase ?

I am eyeing Dion but have decided not to purchase anything until i see a pro bundle out. Almost every G3M bundle I will not buy because I already own items in them.

    1. There is no discount for items you already own in a bundle

    2. Dion is a PA character, not a DAZ Original. There won't be a "pro bundle". However all items related to Dion are available in a bundle: https://www.daz3d.com/dion-character-hair-and-clothing-bundle

    Ciao

If you see a pro bundle you want, but already own items contained within the bundle, you can buy the bundle and then submit a ticket with the order number(s) of the bundle and the previously purchased items for a refund on those items. However, the refund will be for the bundled price, not the price you originally paid for those items.

Thank you both for your answers. I guess I won't be holding my breath for a pro bundle now. I thought of this because I ordered an album of mp3s from amazon and before I purchased it amazon messaged me that I was discounterd because I already owned one of the songs. Wish Daz was as convenient. But being able to submit a ticket is good to know.

I am pretty sure that is only possible if the returned items were bought less than 30 days ago.

You're basically returning the items from the bundle, not the originally purchased items. The refund will be for the bundle price of those items, so usually only $1-2 dollars per item, not whatever you paid for the individual items.

  • Have you actually done that before? That doesn't seem in line with their return policy or past experience. It also defeats the point of the bundles.

It would be nice if someone could confirm that.

I have some bundles from which I bought already some items and this fact has prevented me from buying the bundles.

If I knew I would be refunded (at bundle price is fine) for the items I already own I would at least look at the bundles, if not, I can live without them.

Yes, I have done it at least twice, but it was a year or so ago. You aren't technically returning anything, you are just being refunded the difference in price on the bundle without those items. You still keep the original item, but the refund is only about $1 or so. They may have changed this policy since I did it, but I did do it and I was credited the difference.

    1. It says here that you have not purchased the BUNDLE, although all the components of the BUNDLE were purchased one after the other. Shouldn't the status of the BUNDLE then be updated to "purchased"? (I'm not talking about bonus content BUNDLEs that are only available in it)
    2. Why are the purchased items not deducted from the price if you do not have the entire BUNDLE, but parts of it, and now want to buy the BUNDLE?

I did not know that! Thanks.
