Can someone explain me quite dumproof what "point to..." means, pelase? I think i've seen just "Point to (something)", "Point percistently to (something)", and "Point to root"/
Thanks in advance.

Start DAZ|Studio with an empty scene.
Create a sphere primitive with the default values.
Create a cone primitive with the default values.
With the cone selected gointo its parameters, click "Point At..." and select the sphere in the window that opens. Click "Accept".
Now select the sphere in your scene and move it around in the various directions
Observe the cone while doing this.
Can you draw a conclusion?
Thanks. What is difference between "Point to...""Persistently point to..." which appears sometimes and also I've seen "Persistently Point A to B"; and what means the number in properties after the Point to drop down?
The one in the Parameters pane is pesistent - it keeps pointing at the target even if you move it. There's also a Point at in the right-click menu which isn't persistent - it aligns the selected object to the target's (origin's) current position but doesn't update if either the object or the target are then moved.
I did not know that, Richard. Thanks a lot - always nice to learn something new after using this software for over a decade lol
