Is all G3 compatible with G8?

Just wondering if all G3 attire is compatible with G8 figures?

More or less. The Genesis 8 figures include autofit clones for Genesis 3 figures which allows the use of Genesis 3 clothing on Genesis 8. However, there may be instances where the items do not fit perfectly and may require some adjustments. The latter is particularly true if extreme morphs are involved, but that can cause problems using Genesis 3 garments on Genesis 3 figures. The downside to autofit is that many builtin morphs for the garments will no longer function if autofitted.

Morphs should still work after autofit. There are exceptions, like control dials for custom bones for example as the bones would be lost due to the conversion.

Okay good to know. Basically, yes, but with some caveats. Will keep that in mind.

Leana's beaten me to it with the Sickleyield tutorial.

Using that approach makes it super easy to convert hair between G3 and G8. Clothing is a bit more complex, as you have to cope with the switch between T and A poses. Footwear is worst of all (as always) because the bones changed between those generations.
