DIM fails to load and DAZ Connect crashes Studio

I got a new laptop feb 1st 2020 running Win 10 and installed the latest versions of DIM and DAZ Studio.
Every time I start DIM, as soon as I enter my password it simply closes.
DAZ Studio will work until I try DAZ Connect, it's the same issue just closes Studio.
No error window pops up, it just shuts the entire program down.
After spending a week trying everything I have read in the forums from uninstalling and reinstalling the programs, uninstalling and reinstalling the PostgreSQL, to resetting my laptop, to making sure all my paths are correct. I'm stumped. My current log appears to be connecting to CMS but I am still left with this

Has anyone experienced something similar with a new computer and found a successful fix?

What security software are you using? Did you restore back-ups of the Content Management System database, DIM profiles, or the Downloads/Manifests folders?

Security Software is PC Matic but set it to allow DAZ programs
Windows 10 default firewall is running, but I added all the DAZ apps through the firewall already.
I didn't "restore" anything, but reinstalling did, I guess rebuild might be the correct term, those folders...is that what you mean by restoring back-up???
Is there a specific log file that might help by looking at it?

I'm not familiar wth PC Matic so I don't know if ti might cause a problem or not - telling security software to allow something doesn't always mean what it seems, sometimes the software can still get in the way.
No, I mean literallly restoring from a back-up from the odl machine, or copying the files/folders across - those can lead to problems with access permssions. If you are just using the fresh install and the files it creates then that shouldn't be a factor.
DIM has a log in
%AppData%/Daz 3D/InstallManager/
and DS has its own log and a cloud.log in
%AppData%/Daz 3D/Studio4/
When I reset the computer back to factory settings I installed DIM and DAZ Studio before installing any security software and definitely hadn't moved anything over yet and still had the problem of the programs terminating, so it doesn't seem to be an Anti-virus thing....
that being said I did have to install Studio manually and I moved over a few files to use in Studio, and Studio works if I don't try and start up Connect.

I think you will need to open a support ticket, or since you are a PA contact PA support - I don't know what the issue could be.
I did open a support ticket last week when I first started having issues and no one has responded :-(

On the bright side while trying to figure this out I have a much better understanding of the content structure of DAZ Studio and DIM now, so that's a plus.
I am just installing things manually, which kind of sucks, but it is what it is
