DAZ Studio

When doing a render, I save the large file to folder I chose but and timy image of same pose is created, I suspect for the render library.  How do I stop the time image from being created and I actually couldn't care less about the Render Library if I can get rid of it too.

Any assistance would be appreciated since I can't find any settings anywhere that give me the option to stop the tiny image from being created.  I looked for an Options menu and there doesnt seem to be one.

I would also like to know if I can change the library files from being in a Windows system folder.  I prefer not to use the Wundows folders to save software files.  I also see no menu offering me the ability to move that folder or at least designate another place for them to be kept.

Can you tell I am not use to DAZ Studio???

Thanks for any help.

In Render Settings, click on the icon for Image Path and change it from the library to a file folder. Then click the ... button to select the file path where you want to save your renders.

  • I alredy changed the path for my renders, but the blasted Render Library files are going there too and if I delete them, they just reappear with the next render . . . I'm looking for a way to shut them off completely.

  • Thank you

Are you still having  trouble with this? If so, attach a screenshot of your Render Settings Editor tab (like I did above), so I can see what your setting are. If you really selected a folder instead of a library, it should never create the little thumbnail render.

  • Wasn't understanding that there was a drop down there because I selected the file name in a different type of window . . . but just set image to folder again, because it actually sent the thumbnail images with it.  Will try it again . . .thank you.
