Strand-Based Hair Question

Does anybody have any links to good strand-based hair tutorials? Basically what I'm trying to do is add hair/fur to the collar on the dress. It came with a LAMH preset, however the preset will not work as the dress is made for G2 and I converted it to G8 and dForce. So I was hoping to just get the strand-based hair to grow on it.

    I think I'm getting it...just going to take a lot of tweaking and experimentation.

    Since its launch i have been desperately looking for help and i am suprised to see the links i found not mentioned here on Daz before.

    There really aren't that many parameters to play with in the SBH editor.  So once you do it a few times, you will probably get the gist of it.

    One thing i do a lot, is make sure the segment length is set to its minimum value (in the syling tab).  Then you can curl them etc at a finer scale.

    There are many many pages in the main SBH thread that probably should be read to gain some more insight into how people are using it, in light oif the lack of documentation.
