Poser CF Downloads

I purchased some Genisis figures like "Michael" but along with them in the downloads there were downloads for PoserCF.I have Daz,would these be of any benfit downloading even though they say for Poser ?

    you don't need these at all.  there are only for putting things in poser runtime format.

    mostly useless for a DS user if you have the DS runtime files.

    You should check the size of the Poser files. As Lyoness says, the CF files usually contain Poser material settings and are not needed if not using Poser. However, and this pertains to my mention of file size, some older products have Poser files that contain the Runtime texture files - these will be larger and are required for the use of the product. If the file is small, it is probably only Poser-specific settings.

    But in the cases where both are needed it will be the DS package, if any, that has the CF added to the name.
