So, I upgraded to a new version of DazStudio (4.12) and everythinrked great. Then, like a dumbass I installed the Download and Install Manager. It installed several new files for me flawlessly. However, DazStudio will no longer launch. Several trips to the forums later, I uninstalled DIM. and the error message changed to something about QtCore4.dll missing. They suggested I try reinstalling Studio, but when I try I get "Error running E:/Daz/dzcoreutil.exe - dvs64: child killed: unknown signal"

    No idea who is suggesting these things but you should stop listening to them.

    DIM works fine so the problem waselsewhere in your system.

    At this point your install is hopelessly screwed up. I'd fully uninstall DS and reinstall DS and DIM.

    use CCleaner to remove all traces inbetween reinstalling too

    so sad a child was killed crying

    Hey I got lucky! In desperation I reinstalled the Download & Install Manager, then let it install EVERYTHING it asked to. Daz Studio works again.
