Says it cannot find the .dsf files for Michael, Victoria 6 or Genesis 2. Then I get this stickman figure in the scene.
But when I surf to the folder indicated, there's the .dsf file, big as day!
Latest version of 4.6, Win 7 pro, plenty of RAM, processor power, etc.
I even used the DAZ installer.
Why can it not read these files? I just spent nearly 200. bucks on various upgrades for these figures. Please don't tell me DAZ conveniently forgot to tell me there is yet ONE MORE thing I needed to buy to make it all work (wouldn't be the first time with DAZ)...

Did you install "Genesis 2 Male Starter Essentials" and "Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials"?
Did you install the Genesis 2 M/F starter essentials
Yes, fixmypcmike. Both are installed. I just finished uninstalling 4.5, 4.6 and everything I purchased. Will try a clean install of the whole works.
Can you post these 2 screenshots:..
1) In DS, Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats"
2) In DIM, on Ready to Install tab check the "Show Details" box in the lower right
Here are the screenshots:
You need to add the path DIM is installing to to both DS and Poser formats in DS.
This one....
Just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions.
Since the program insisted on searching for my content in the Poser folder, I simply moved all DAZ content to that folder, and voila, it works.
Don't ask me why or how, because it seems insanely confusing the way the DIM and the DAZ folder setup works, but whatever. I guess sometimes the brute force method works just as well...:)
It follows modern install guidelines...the program, being installed by a user to a specific user account installs the data to that account. The DIM, installing 'content' will, by default install it to the 'public'/system wide account.
A clean install of DS4.6 will include the Public location used by DIM, but an existing install or update keeps your old content folder settings,, so you have to either add the DIM location or else set DIM to install to a location you have mapped.
