Studio Polygon Editor Question

Is there a way to group select an area of polygons to hide/delete without selecting them one by one?
At the moment I'm trying to make a short sleeve bodysuit that does not have a short sleeve option. It would be easier to be able to mass select the arms and hide/delete the polygons in the major areas of the sleeve and then use the more careful selection method for the areas that require it.

Do a select at the bottom of the mesh sleeve then use the Grow Selection and it will slowly grow from that point with each Grow you do and works very well.
Thanks! You saved me a lot of tedious work there mate (well, at least for one of the sleeves). Appreciate the visual guide too. I just did in 30 seconds what took me a half-hour. Next time I'll ask first (LOL).
The PGE is one of my favorite tools. I love to change things.
Tip: If you like your new item you can save it as a new Item by doing the Delete Hidden or Delete Selected mesh and then saving the Item as whatever type asset it is, be sure you change the File name so as to not replace the original item.
is this how you spawn a prop with the polygon editor?
can it reverse normals?
thanks.
I have no idea what you mean by spawn a prop. Yes to the Normals, you do Select on all the mesh you need and then do Reverse Winding Order like this...
Yes--I think this is now my favorite toy as well. Many of my older props/clothing are about to get a make-over. How do you save it as a new item (is there a save asset option)? Sorry, I don't do much polygon editing (at least up until now) so I've never had to save a new asset. I saved what I did as a scene (which I guess is an option), but it would be good to save into the folder of the original item so in my case I would have a bodysuit with sleeves and one without stored in a logical place.
If you hold down the control key and press num-pad + it will grow the selection without having to go through the pull down menu 50 times.
Or, if you want to get a big block which you have to fine tune later,
right-click, Polygon Selection, choose Mode: Rectangle, Lasso or Drag
or ccmd/ctrl-* to select all connected polygons - not useful for clothes, but useful for many props and rigid body items such as armour.
