How do I change where the DIM will install my Poser/DAZ content respectively?

DIM -> Advanced Settings (gear icon in upper right corner) -> Installation tab. Add a new path to "Content Path Shortcuts" by clicking the "+" sign in the bottom left corner, then set that one to be the current installation location. You can also change the Manifest Archive (records of what has been installed), and the download location (Package Archive), if you keep your zip files.
Thanks! That sounds like exactly what I need to know. I'll give it a try. It looks like I'll have to reload all of my content. At least a terabyte. Any ideas on to reload it? As far I know, the DIM is good for installing content the first time but what about content that it's already installed. How do I tell the DIM to do it again?
If DIM cannot find the install manifests, it will think they are not installed. It will see them as ready to install if it finds the download folder, otherwise it sees them all as ready to download. If you can salvage and copy the library itself from the old disk, along with the original installation manifests, you won't have to re-install anything. Just use the same relative paths and point to the new root folder location in Studio (Content Directory Manager) and it should all automagically appear in the Content Library tab.
