Dforce a blanket with up+down impact
Hi,
I wanna do something like this:
But not on a bed, on a table.
A big sleeping/bed blanket throwed over an object, in my case a table, and then sit a person on it.
So I need the blanket getting the impact flying over the table (gravity dropping it down), but then also let the person make the correct impact into the blanket.
Sadly... so far I know, I can not dropp it over the table and then say start now a new dforce simulation from that point or does that work?...
Thanks ^_^

This part is done, a fluffly looking blanket, over the object.
But... how to make now the impact from a body with dforce (I could try meshgrabber, but I wanna learn to use dforce better).
Not a direct answer to your question (I don't know the answer to that one!) but if you want to learn more about what you can do with dForce, have you seen this thread by Rgcincy which has masses of information and experiments on dForce-ing things? https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/208141/how-to-use-dforce-creating-a-blanket-draping-clothes-on-furniture-and-much-more-commercial/p1
(There are three tutorial packs in the store by Rgcincy too - put his id into the store search box to find them)
hmm, I am not really a fan of buying tutorials....
if they want cash for helping well, not me ;)....
Next time a old lady want some help I ask first for 5€ :p
and... the thread seems to be a little bit... BIG :D
But I think it could be helpful, but I am German and... if I see much english text I am a bit afraid :/ also afraid if it get too complex for me.
But thanks for your link, I will bookmark it, and maybe... I can find something by overflying it :D
I checked this:

I think that could work, so I use the timeline, to move the body down to "follow" the blanket, maybe that will work, so at frame 10-12 the body will go down and then also fall on it. The blanket will first react to the table and then to the body.
I hope it.
I will share my result info :)
It works kinda, but the impact is a bit too much...
