Animations Not Working

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hey guys, I've been trying to apply animations to my Daz models and using the timeline to play them but the animations won't apply itself the Daz models. How do you solve this?
btw I usually select my entire Daz model and then click on the animation to apply it but it's not working anymore.

    Are you sure te animations are made for the figure you are using? Where are you clicking on them?

    Yes the animations are for that model. I click once on the Daz model which selects the entire model and then go to my animations tab and double click on the animation to apply it to the Daz model but nothing happens.

    Which animations tab - AniMate? Which animation set are you using?

    No. On the left where "smart content" is. I open the "animations" tab and apply it to the Daz model directly there. I don't use animate or animate2 at all. I usually play the animation using the normal timeline.
