Icons running amuck (resolved)
Daz has taken on a rather annoying habit & I can't figure out what enabled it but especially how to disable it. Come to think of it, I noticed this shortly after the Beta update.
Currently running: DS Beta 4.12.1.76
What happens is when I save a rendered window to a file, png in this case, it not only writes the image but also an _icon.png.
The annoying part is that it's making _icon.png's for EVERY file in the folder!
And JUST that folder.
Tried a different folder and doesn't do it. Cleared out the _icon.png files (again) from the Render Tests folder, made another test render and save there and suddenly I've 209 new _icon.pngs. So what's Daz got against my D:\Render Tests folder?
Tried with current release of 4.12... No mass icon creation.
So, can I consider this a reported bug?

When you save a render, under the file name, there is an option to save the image to the "Render Library" or just a folder. Saving to a folder in the Render Library creates a icon for a render, a folder outside of the Render Library does not create an icon.
You need to change your save as folder by clicking on the Folder icon shown in the attached picture and select a folder that is not defined as a Render Library.
Indirectly that cleared up some of the mystery. What your showing has always been the default behavior & what I'm used to doing. Once the folder was set, I just left it that way. In the Beta, I try setting it to that but it keeps reverting back to the Library icon rather than the Folder. I think I found where that path info is stored. Will run another test.
Yup. Found where that path got added & removed.
