Mimic Live with mp3

I use Mimic Live with Genesis 8.
It works well with my microphone.
I would like to know if I can use an mp3 file directly, instead of recording with a microphone.

    Take an external MP3 player, plug it into the line in input on your PC, set it as the default audio in and you're good to go.
