Annoying problem

Hello, I don't know how to explain my problem clearly, but I'll try.

let's say for example that I apply a pose to a genesis 8 character, the open windows are my daz3d library/people/genesis 8 female/poses, so I apply my pose and save, at that moment all these windows close and I have to open them again, is there a way to avoid that please ?

Save what - the scene? When you say that windows close do you mean the panes, or something else?

If you're using 'smart content' no, it constantly flashes about depending upon what exactly is selected in the scene. I use the Contents Pane, much less annoying.

yes when i save the scene all the panes are closed

So to be clear, you just have the Viewport filling the entire Daz Studio window? A screen shot might help (please make sure that any figures that are visible have clothes).

as you can see on the picture to reach the section "clothing" I have to open a set of windows, my problem is that when I save a file, all these windows close, so I have to reopen all of them to use the section "clothing"

Nope. Can't see that at all. The content tree view is part of the normal layout.

OK, those aren't windows so I was getting confused: categories, or possibly containers. Yes, they close because the database is being updated and refreshed - to add the file you just saved, so the list gets rebuilt (or otherwise has to be redrawn). I don't think there is a way around it.

... I use the 'view list' - it doesn't change, new items are simply added to their areas, sometimes one right-clicks on the appropriate folder to suggest it to refresh.
