Painting on a DAZ figure in Bodypaint 3d/Cinema 4d

I made a quick video to show how to paint on Genesis (or any other multi-mapped figure) using Bodypaint 3d R14, since it comes up from time to time. Nowadays Bodypaint is basically another level of Cinema 4D - if you have Cinema 4d, the steps are the same because the BP stuff is included in all the C4D versions. Likewise BP includes the features of C4D prime, plus sculpting.

This is specifically to show how to paint across UV seams. If you can't see the annotations for some reason, there's more info in the description of the video.

I've been using BodyPaint for about 4 yrs now. It's a life saver for doing seams and I love just painting the texture on the prop.

I just made the jump from BP R2/Cinema R9 up to 14 and I'm sooo excited to have all the new & better stuff. I'm just starting to figure out how to make custom brushes and it's very fun.

Anyone care to give me the quickie text version of how to handle overlapping (e.g., Genesis, Genesis clothing) UVs in bodypaint? I'm on dialup so videos aren't really an option.

I'm using Riptide. I've got the workflow worked out for V4 & M4 clothing. Most of my problems there were solved by checking "single material mode" and un-checking "recalculate UVs" in the setup wizard. But Genesis stuff is proving problematic. If I export the OBJ using the Genesis UV set, I wind up with the UVs stacked on top of one another. If I export them using the default UV set, I wind up with half of the UV outside of the texture area.
