AGAIN!!

I just cleaned my IMac and now Daz won't pull up my over 1500 pieces because the CMS won't engage for me to log in!!

I've tried the helps and got a ticket in that's yet to be answered. I had this same issue on pc's years back!! Multiple times!

When will this cease to be an issue guys!?

Downtime costs $$$.

Meanwhile I have paid clients that are waiting...

 

Stuck at "GO"...

    So you are getting the alter on starting DS that a PostgreSQL connection is required, and PostgreSQL is installed?

    Indeed. CMS won't start to allow login.

    A maliscious ware scare had Geek Squad wipe it.

    I re-downloaded all my Daz... (Via Installer)

    Maybe a dumb question, but you did download and install "PostgreSQL CMS" from your Product Library right?

    Yup. Multiple times.

    I had that on my pc when I installed daz 4.11, had to get the firewall to allow connections for both DIM and PostgreSql tools.

    Other than that you can do a manual connection test for postgresql and make sure your hosts file is correct.

    OK. IDK how to even find the files to test on a Mac...

    Looked at my firewal...blankly.

    That's my point. One shouldn't have to be an under the hood monkey to run this program. CMS has been a problem for years!!

    Oh and my ticket?? Was sent oin the 24th. ...still waiting on a response.

    Did I mention I have a bizzness tied to Daz!?! angry

    I don't use cms, so it's not a problem. Just wish it wasn't required to run daz, could delete it but then daz would wait for a connection timeout before it starts.
