(Coming Soon) Mason for Genesis 8 Male(s) (Commercial)

Mason is a good looking and versatile character who's ready for your next fantasy or genre render.
His face and body HD morph details are saved in separate dials from one another, as well as separate from the base morph, and included is a subD 2 HD ready character preset so you can load, apply, and render.
Mason comes with additional fibermesh hair sets for him; Facial, Brows, Forearm, Fingers (very faint, but that catch the light well), Lower Leg, Full Leg, Hip (and backside), Torso and Anatomical Elements.  Each fibermesh hair set has four material presets to choose from.
Mason also has four eye colors: Blue, Green, Brown and Red as well as a secondary, slightly different preset for each-the Red eye color secondary preset is an emissive setting, rather than a different color/shade.
Several tattoos are included (two not shown), as well as several additional skin presets to change up his skin tone, translucency and SSS coloring.
Materials are Iray only.

  • Not trying to bash your work, I respect what you are doing. But it seems like most of the content in the store revolves around "pretty white girls", or "young teen character" on a female side, and then, the 5% of the content that is made for males involves "versatile character", or a "middle-aged" man. WHY, just why can't we get a teen-ish looking character on a male base? There were soooo many teen female characters for G8, and I believe only 1 of them was teen on a male side, officially. Sadly, I decided fo pause my purchases in Daz store as all content seems very similar to me, or too generic. I have to pass on that one, again. I wish you good luck with the sales though

I am sorry you feel that way, but I understand.

I can give you my reasoning behind not making teen-ish characters (and I have had a few that do appear to be at the lower range of 20's) is that I am simply not confortable doing so.  Besides Gage, and he was a one-off, I have no reason to nor want to make young-ish or young character sets.  It is not my style, preference, or really my ideal for character making.  As for Daz base characters, I cannot answer that one.

No worries about that, I am sprry if I made you feel uncomfortable. I always rant how we never get male content, but to be honest, I have kinda given up on it and went back to rendering pretty white women again. Most clients only request women anyway. As far as younger characters go: I was making a comical story of a family, but due to not having characters I needed, I had to abandon whole project. Well, in the end, your product might land in my basket overall, if I get it for a decent price

What about those sets for making the guys look young? I've never tried one. But, do they work?

  • Let's keep this on topic guys. If you want to rant or ask questions about unrelated characters, do it in a new topic.

Mason looks GORGEOUS Darwin, definitely looking forward to adding him to my runtime!

Yes- the sets by Zev0 work wonderfully; I've used them often myself.

    Thank you, TNP!  Appreciated.

Thought I'd toss this in as well- if you need a great gothic set, trust me- this is a great gothic set by Sloshwerks.

Awesome. A new male Mishap. Darwin's work is always 1st class and his style suits my render style perfectly. So much so that I chose one of his models (Stryker) as the main character in my hopefully soon to be released visual novel. Always really appreciate the included tatts when the model comes with them. Can never have enough tatts :)

All the best for the release Darwin and I look forward to adding Mason to my collection.

    David.

Mason is currently in my cart and just waiting for me to finish deciding what else joins him in my runtime, besides the bus.
