KEEP ASKING TO INSTALL GENESIS 3 ESSENTIALS..ALL THE TIME?

Hi everybody....i have an issue lately...it keeps asking me to install genesis 3 essentials all the time...whatever figure i load....usually genesis 8....do you know why this is happeneing?

    It probably means that the base preset is referring to a file that is in the Genesis 3 Starter Essentials - when that happens, if the Content Management System knows you own the product with the missing file it will offer to install it. If you mean that you get a complaint that a file is missing but DS doesn't actually offer to install anything then I think there is/was a product or freebie that is (incorrectly) asking for a Genesis 8 Female UV set from the Genesis 3 Female path.

    You mean other than installing G3 Starter Essentials?

    If you're loading G8 and it's asking you for G3 base, then you have a character installed which references it. That character is what needs to be fixed.

    Maybe if look in the log file when loading the figure you'll be able to see what morph that is.

    There was a thread about this sometime back. IIRC it was an incorrect path statement in Genesis 8 itself. This may have been corrected, but if people aren't using DIM or Connect or are infrequent buyers they may not see updates, Also people that already have the Essentials installed may think they don't need to install an update.
