Does purchased non-HD G8 character benefit from HD Head Morphs?

I own some non-HD G8F characters and am wondering if they will benefit if I purchase HD Head Morphs from Daz?  I don't plan on dialing my own characters from scratch.

EDIT: I realized there could be some misunderstanding of my original question.  I don't mean purhcasing HD versions of specific characters but will this prodduct: https://www.daz3d.com/hd-head-morphs-for-genesis-8-female ; make non-HD characters that do not have HD versions to have HD head without dialing in a new head shape for the non-HD character.

    Sure, that's why we buy them ;-)

    n.b. one may need to dial up the subdivision to 3 or 4 for some of the HD to be at their best for close-ups.

    Sure, that's why we buy them ;-)

    n.b. one may need to dial up the subdivision to 3 or 4 for some of the HD to be at their best for close-ups.

    How does it work?  I also own a HD character and it uses a spearate HD.duf file for the character.  My non-HD G8F characters use the regular G8F.duf file.  Daz3D sells the HD bodies as shapes but HD head as morphs.  I don't understand the differeence. 

    I don't need different body shapes but I want my purcahsed non-HD character to have HD head morphs if that helps with better expressions.  The HD character Saya by Goanna works really well with all kinds of expressions.  The non-HD ones by Sangrart are more difficult to do varied expressions.

    So if I don't use/dial the preset of the HD head, as I want to retain the same look of my purchased non-HD character, then purchasing the HD head doesn't do anything for me?

    I'm not sure I understand - if you don't want to use the HD morphs why would you consider buying them?

    Because the characters I own do not have HD versions available.  I don't want to change their looks but have more details of same look, as the case of HD characters for sale.

    Going by the promo page, there are 5 head shapes there. I don't have the product to check if those are separate or not so they may change the head shape of your characters. On the other hand if one is matching close to what you have, you could dial the other one out a little if it's head shape is shown as a separate morph too. {some characters have the body and head all together in one morph}
