Shadow Catcher

Hello! I used shadow catcher with the help of shadow catcher tutorial from youtube to render an animated scene in image series. Eveything works fine when I render with 3Delight and the plane does not appear in the final render. But when I render with open GL with shadows to save time the plane appears in my renders. Why is this happening? Is it possible to fix it?

Since it is a 3Delight specific shader, don't use OpenGL rendering. Unlike games that have more than the basic OpenGL shaders (very often custom made for that specific game), DS only has the basic ones.

OpenGL rendering is only intended for drafts and doesn't use shaders. It pretty much renders the viewport as-is, so it's literally pointless for all but the most basic of uses.

It uses the basic OpenGL shaders (and an older set at that...something like a 2.x set)...I wish that there was some way to get it to use some of the more advanced ones. There are a lot of features in more recent versions of OpenGL that can put the quality of the OpenGL render up a few notches. It could be a lot more powerful/useful than it is now.
