Nvidia its old and not Iray Compatible Shader Iray Help

I am not sure if this is the right place but I am curious, can you use Iray Shaders on a 3D Delight? I have an old computer, Iray is out of my price range, my nvidia is an old girl, and I don't think she would accept an Iray install because of her age. Any way is it possible that Iray Shaders might work on 3D Delight.

You can always run iray in CPU mode.

It'll be slow, but can be done.

The auto conversion is pretty bad and some features of iray don't convert, so some items may not even appear in renders.

There are converters, such as convert-it-iray-to-3dl-characters (at Rendo) that allow you to convert it a bit more easily and may produce better results.

But, like any render engine conversion there's a lot of work that may need to be done manually to get the look you're going for.
