Dog Tail Anyone?

Hi All.
I have been buying the cool anthropomorphic morphs and textures at Philosopher's Egg which I highly recommend.
I was looking at a set called the Canide or dogs set for the mil4 figures which would be cool for a set of images I want to create but they do not have tails. He has been very good about including textures for the Creature Creator package for Mil4 figures wherever possible as well as the creature add-on legs but there is no dog tail included in the pack. I never noticed actually because i never needed a dog or wolf tail......until now.
Does anyone know of a good well textured and smooth jointed dog or wolf tail out there in the Poser-Sphere?
Doesn't have to be a stand-alone character, even if it is a conforming figure part of another set would be wonderful.

Possibly you could use one of the easypose tubes or tentacles. You'd have to see how rounded the end is or can be made, and of course depending on how thick the dog's fur is and/or how close it is, this may or may not work well.

Also check through the content you own. You might have something that could be modified to work, if not as efficiently or easily; perhaps the Mil dog with other parts hidden, for example.
This is old and its a foxtail

LATER
I just tried loading it and it no longer works well in Poser 10. DS may have more luck.
hmmm?
forgot about that. is it transmapped and smoother jointed or faceted lower mesh?
I am still in P7 but not into the lower res faceted stuff of yesteryear. Too much of a pain to retouch andbecause of the omplexity of this project i have too much to retouch as it is.
Yes, its transmapped.
The first picture is with the trans turned off
The second picture is with the trans turned on showing that it can stil look OK.
The third picture is the other side showing the problem I'm talking about, The texture of one layer gives way to another layer abruptly. It might be fixable with some work .
I'm not sure what smoother jointed is but I doubt it, this is a Poser 4 vintage.
I don't remember when the hair room in poser went from giving full rich looking hair to giving the scrawny, scraggly hair I get with P10, but you might check out the tail for Krystal Starfox.

It looked good in earlier versions of poser, but I'm not sure which side of the break P7 is on.
Melody and Micah (A3/H3 animal morphs) over at RuntimeDNA have tails .... then you need tail morphs for them in Capsces Furries and then you get the various textures in the Furries Furs... its kind of involved because as I remember they require RTE conversion too... but they look great and might work with the Philo Egg M4/V4 animal morphs.
This one is to turn a mouse into a squirrel, but perhaps it could be made to work. Little Dragon's House Mouse add-on: Bushy Tail: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/details.php?item_id=15231
Does this tail work via the hair room in Poser 7?
I am not familiar with the hair room functions.
Are the two texture sides properly mirrored? If that is the problem even I can fix it (and I usually can't fix much!).
By smoother joints I mean the softer transition found in joints of higher res meshes. They look smoother and rounder at the bends if the mesh is denser. For instance the tails of the old Zygote/ DAZ first Creature Creator accessories for the Mil2 figures.
Yeah love that tail but my mind just can't wrap around the Dynamic stuff and Hair Room stuff let alone magnets. Any higher end functions in Poser cripple me> I have tried reading up but just can's seem to work through the blocks
I just got this. Went to the link in the forums where it's explained how it is made.
NO HAIR ROOM FUNCTIONS!
NO DYNAMICS FUNCTIONS!
WooHoo!!
This dummy loves!!!!
Now, the question is will it look like a realistic dog tail (depending on breed)?
Thank you all!
