Tutorial how to combine background inages with 3d models?

Help - I am looking for a tutorial how to combine background images with 3d models. I barely remmember some months ago I've seen such tutorial on utube and thought I bookmarked it but nah... It was someting llike inside a barn background and some 3d robots or such. Of course everything else providing it is dummbproof is highly welcomed.
