How do I load a partial pose from a full pose preset? Centaur question?

I finally broke down and got the Centaur 8 figures.  I know I can take the time to pose the figures but it is easier to use premade poses, but I do not have any for Centaur 8.  Is there a way to load up a full pose preset for G8F (or G8M) but only have it change the upper body of the figure?

Also is there a way to convert normal clothing to work with Centaur 8?  Or do I have to just be choosy about what to use?

If you hold down the ctrl key (cmd on a Mac) while double-clicking a native DS preset you will usually get an option dialogue. For psoe presets that dialogue includes the settings you need to affect only the selected nodes etc.

Okay now to figure out how to select just the upper body of the figure.  Trying to put together a scene to render.

Select the (Lower) Abdomen, which is the first bone of the upper figure, then ctrl-double-click the preset. In the dialogue you want Selected for the Nodes and Recursive Propagation, so that it starts from the selected bone and applies to all of its children.
