Is there documentation available on editing Mimic DMC files?
This is all I have found.
I'd like to try out the DAZ House Cat in Mimic, but I'm having trouble creating a working DMC file.
If you can give me a couple of clues, I would be grateful.

it works with the DAZ millennium dog dmc
The MilCat works very nicely with the dog dmc. Neither Dog 8 nor the new House Cat work with dog dmc. The path to the visemes has been changed, and I can't path to it.

I have replaced 'head:1' with everything I can think of but got no results.
ah I see, yeah admittedly I use the Milcat and assumed wrongly
I guess nothing works with these new figures then as if not under the head mimic cannot map the phonemes
That's not all that's unusual about these new critters.
You can export MilCat as an FBX, take it into 3DX, and all the visemes are there. Do the same thing with House Cat and the visemes are not there. They seem to be encapsulated in some mysterious container.
revisiting this as I never found a solution without editing the duf file itself moving the morphs to the head
saving a NEW support asset figure which cannot be shared and other limitations with content
at least in DAZ studio
Carrara, iCone etc I can make it talk
did DAZ ever address this?
I can create a mimic configuration file for Carrara mimic with notepad easily enough as that doesn't care where the morphs are nested
