Exotic Leather Shader Presets 3 for Iray [Released] [Commercial]

I have released the third in the Exotic leather shader series, this time I made the textures 4k, it is a merchant resource as well. I would like any feedback about the new texture size, is the increased resolution good and useful of should I go back to 2k or 3k for my future efforts. At 330 maps the file size is large but if you're using them to texture the best resolution is good. The previous two leather shader packs have various sizes, optimized for being good but taking up less room. If you have a preference please let me know here, I am working on more shaders now.

Could we have the choice of either? I have your previous two leather shader packs, and I use whatever maximum is available. Given a choice, I'd use 2k for full body, but it's always nice to have glorious 4k available for a gratuitous closeup. Keep up the great work!

Oh, and it'd be nice to have the chocolate or tobacco or whatever you call the darkest colour available for all of the different types.

I like choices. The more choices the better, just please, label them VERY CLEARLY.

    I'm collecting this series.

Of course, I'm not in front of Daz so I can't remember, but I know I have a shader set that doesn't use colors in the description.

I'd like to see more names.

I like your use of Tobacco and Western and also the wonderful decorative textures on top of the color.

    That really, really pops.

I'd like, maybe some rougher leathers, like a biker or duster type overcoat. Worn leather.

Not so much dirty or grimy, just worn and used.

    ------------

And if you ever decide to branch out, I'd love to see what you could do with suede(s).

  • Thank you for the feedback, I will make use of it on my next attempt.

Your new 4K Fabric Shader Presets look great in the promos. I haven't downloaded it yet, but it was very thoughtful of you to arrange them by the colour system. I was hoping for 2K versions so I didn't have to do it myself, because colour groups lend themselves to crowd scenes and easy characterization from a distance. Keep up the great work.

I have bought the fabric shader pack and I'm eager to try it out. I love the many option it offers and the many different material settings (including wool!!!). For those of us creating or tweaking our own clothing sets this will come un very handy.

Absolutely love the embossed leathers...would love to see even more displacement and contrast there! Also seconding the above suggestion for more worn leathers. I'd also love to see what you'd do with some heavier armor type stuff.

I've been using the fabric shader pack for a while and I. ABSOLUTELY. LOVE. Them. Highly detailed, very realistic, great collection of fabric and many if them rare to find presets in other packs.

Since this is pack 1 I hope many more will follow. These are absolutely fantastic for those who need fabric shader presets.
