I was asking a general question of whether it was possible, by someone like me, not technically minded. Is your meaning that rigging of the original clothing is necessary to do this?
Is it possible to change a dforce item of clothing into the old conforming method of fitting clothes to movement?
As pointed out, most already are (rigged=conforming), but they usually won't look as good until you run the dforce simulation. If you encounter an item that isn't rigged, say dynamic or from another store, you would have to rig it and that is not an easy task to do correctly.

Is it not rigged already?

It isn't a case of "one or the other" — most, if not all dForce clothes in the DAZ store are also set up to be conforming.

Ok. Understood. Thanks everyone.
