I just bought Versatile Glass Shader - Custom Shader and Presets for Iray and it is unclear to me how it works. There is "double click for info" icon which gives some instructions but when I follow those instructions I only get a black object which renders black. Clearly, I'm not using the product correctly. Would anyone (eg the vendor: SF Design) care to give some more detailed instructions, or suggestions?

If it's just shaders, as opposed to materials you will likely have to click on your glass, go to the Surfaces tab, select the surface(s) you want and double click the desired shader.
If there is no environment to reflect, glass and metals may appear black in renders.Do you have a 3d set or HDRI?
