"Hovering Hair"

Something has changed on my system recently, and I'm hoping someone might suggest where I look.

What I'm seeing is that when figures load, the hair (which is fitted and parented to the figure) loads hovering well above their head.  After a short delay, it then "jumps" down into the correct position.  The problem is that when I batch render, in many cases the render starts before that "jump" happens, which means that the render comes out with the hair a foot above the figures head.

The issue seems to be limited to G3F figures - I don't see it happening with G8F.  But it happens with multiple G3F figures, and also with multiple G3F hairs.

I haven't kept track of what I've installed recently - might have to crawl through that using file dates.  But any suggestions for specific things I might look for?  Anybody else seeing this?

I see it with G8F and multiple hairs as well. Not sure what it is, but it seems recent. Using Studio 4.12.0.86 and Beta 4.12.1.76.

I'm still on 4.10. I did figure it out - it was a product I bought on another site. Once I uninstalled it, the problem went away. So, another "one product affects all others" thing.

But a friend tells me that AprilYSH's Vance hair did the same thing to him. Just having it installed messed up all the other G3F hairs the same way.  He ended up returning it. (Possibly it's been corrected since, but...)

I'm having the same anomoly show up, 4.11. How did you track down the culprit, given that it was affecting other hair products? And can you say what it was?
