Help Needed: with a Modern Ambulance Stretcher (for my 3D Ambulance)

I’m in need of help I’m trying to make an Ambulance Stretcher/cot I’m using Hexagon 2, Carrara 8 Pro and Daz Studio 4.6.
I have been trying to do the cot or the mattress frame without much luck for some time now. So I’m thinking of someone could guide me on how to start a project that is designed to work with Genesis &/or Genesis 2 because I never made an object what geared towards handle different body type morphs.

With that said I need to let you know that I’m one of the modelers that prefer to use real world measurements & this is a sub-project that has been holding up 2 other projects besides the ambulance that I really need it for.
