Best clothing converter?

I know this is very subjective but I would like to know what the best clothing converter tool (or what everyone's favorite) is?

I have seen several tools around for clothing coversion. Autofit is of course included with Daz, then there is Sickel's Rigging and Morphing System and I just came across http://www.daz3d.com/march-madness/clothes-converter-1-2 by Markcus Dunn.

So which one works best? From what I have seen so far Sickel's seems to be the best? Or perhaps I should say the most versatile?

Yes, depends on what you want to convert from, and what you want to convert to. SRMS is great for converting 4th Generation clothing to Genesis, or improving the fit of clothing already made for Genesis.

Even conversions from Genesis work pretty well. Though you lose any special features

There's a CrossDresser licence for Genesis?

DAZ Studio Transfer Utility is the best conversion system, hands-down. SRMS is just a template and morph system that makes it better. ;)

My Flow of conversions that seem to work. V3 to V4 in CrossDresser using all morphs, then in DAZ Studio the New V4 clothing to Genesis with the Transfer Utility. As long as you have all the required target figures in DAZ Studio I think you can pretty much get anything on any figure with just a little work on your part. Of course that means buying all that is required but it is do able. Even Toon clothing to Genesis is possible. The only thing I've not tried is going down the generations. Not sure that would work so well.

    Hi there.

I need to convert clothing from M4 (and some V4) to F4.

    I see this http://www.daz3d.com/clothes-converter-4-0

I see the Freak is listed, but will this work with F4? Are they the same?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks.

That's an older program so any claims made are probably no longer true. It may also not work as well on a newer version of windows. The fact that it doesn't mention Freak 4 (Not to mention Genesis) gives you an idea when the last update came out.

To go from M4 to F4 you might also consider one of the magnet sets:

V4 to Freak DOES need a converter though.

I personally prefer crossdresser 4. Unfortunately, It doesn't list Freak 4 either.

If you use Studio (I don't) you may find that there is a combination of add-ons that will let you accomplish what you want.

That link and the other ideas are great info. Thanks for your help. I'm going to use M4 morphs++ in the short term, but I've added that to my wishlist and if I get stuck I'll have a go.

I think F4 seemed like a good idea at the time, but hardly anyone made clothing for it.
