DIM - Reinstall all but some items it wants to download again?

I had a hard drive failure, but my downloads are all on a different drive and unaffected. I opened DIM, selected all the items with an "8" in them to try to cover Genesis 8 figures and assets, and after reviewing the list, chose to reinstall them, after setting a functional drive as the new liobrary destination. After uninstalling all of them, DIM then shows only 53 items as ready to install, and all the rest have to be downlaoded again? They were all downloaded to the same drive as now,and no paths have ever changed - why do they need to be downloaded again?

Were the zips and manifests saved on the drive you lost? Or are you saying that things you downloaded since the recovery are going missing?
same here, Dim wants to install again 120 plus items i have downloaded. i pressed yes so lm still waiting to see what will happen. No idea why it does that :/
I don't know about manifests - the zips were originally downloaded to H:, which is still the same drive, with no changes to any of the accompanying folder structure since they were first downloaded. The drive that failed only contained the installed libraries, none of the downloaded files. I'd say that DIM probably is only re-installing about 25% from the original downloads, and re-downloading the rest.
Where would be the best place to list suggested updates to DIM? I have several, but don't want to take up this thread discussin them.
Feature requests should go to Daz https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us , though there's no harm in kicking the ideas around a bit on the forums first to refine them.
