SBH white hair is rendering far too grey

SBH white hair is rendering far too grey. It's like 255 255 255 white on all iray surfaces channels but still a deep smokey grey when rendering even in Sun-Sky Noon Summer Solstice lighting!
What can be done to fix that? That means eassential 1/2 the hue saturation range is gone when pure white renders middle grey. The other end, pure black of 0 0 0 renders 0, 0, 0.
Attached is eg render.
Thanks

I am comparing to the dForce Fur from the German Shepherd for DAZ Dog 8 to see how they did it. It's not quite the approach I wanted to take but since it works reasonably well, even if the fur is still a bit too dark colored, I'll take that approach.
Thanks.
