Hi,

I wanna request the Community to make more Family poses.

I bought this:

https://www.daz3d.com/oreschnick-poses-mothers-and-their-daughters-poses

sadly I saw not that it is for G3/2 so it works not soo good for G8 ;(

See attachment, I mad this pose self.

it's not soo easy, I understand that Kid+Parent poses can be complicated because of the very different sizes, but I can adjust poses, but it would help me a lot if I can use some presets.

Would be happy if you make poses for me, the good thing about poses is everyone can make them :D

( I thinked about it, if I can make money with making poses, but... I don't know how they have to be set up that they will be okay for the store...).

The Man's pose is from the bought Set, I wanted first this pose from the set:

But the pose did not worked correct on my G8M ;(

There are several good pose converter scripts in the store, and some free ones elsewhere that will convert G3 poses to G8 very nicely. I use this one constantly, and it's especially nice since you can convert big batches of poses. It has helped me get my entire G3 pose library converted to G8. There's also a G2 to G3 version, which I have, but haven't used as much. I plan to migrate my G2 poses up to G8 using both of them eventually, so Genesis 8 figures can use all the poses I've got more easily. The main difference between G3 poses and G8 ones is the starting position of the arms and legs, as G3 figures start out in a T-pose by default and G8 starts in an A-pose.

Oh, and in case this helps, this pose set for Genesis 8 came out recently, and looks nice:

Hmm the family photo set is not my thing.

Thanks for the converter, I will take an eye on it. I used the RSSY clothes converter one time and was not soo happy with it... thats why I am a bit afraid about converters :/

Just scroll through that page, it have a lot good examples :)

Cuddling and taking care of the kids, such things.

Its not so simple to describe :D

Thanks, the converter made a good job!

    (2x G8M used the G3 female poses)

    Compared to before.

The right boys pose "the kid" looks more okay, but the bigger pose is just broken...

Now I know I can also buy G3 poses ^_^

    I found now this:

    https://www.daz3d.com/baby-mine-poses-for-genesis-8

But... it have the problem, it does only applay the Parent pose, if I stick the kid to the hip how the tutorial say it can kinda work, but... that is not right what I want^^.

See attachment, I can only select the Baby Tobyn/caryn, but not Mother/Baby.

Is it possible to split the poses somehow?

Oh well... I did read that Product Name a bit different xD.... Family Bondage time, funny Family time ;)

The poses are wonderful, good found! Would have to look if I get it converted good with all my scripts.

And, man those old pics, they look so ugly, would definitly not be a purchase reason for me (in old days), I'm happy daz3d did evolve, that old engine isnt a thing for me. Remembers me to Sims 1 or 2.

Thanks to Ati's nice addon I saw a thread "Dad Poses" where the linked "bondage" *g* set got also mentionied and there found I this:

Categories should survive reisntalling DS, as long as you don't remove or reset the database.

I didnt I moved all correct on my external HDD and then moved it to my new (extra for daz3d ordered) PC, my Lib was working again, but the category at the bottom in my custom content was gone ;(

I used the same Structure, also the same Path D:/

Ah, unless you changed it the content management database is on the C: drive, not on the removable drive - though any saved userdata files go in the first Daz Studio content directory (in /Runtime/Support/) so if you had removed/edited the default C: drive locations on the old machine you should have been able to reimport the userdata you had exported.

No C:/ is ONLY for windows on both Systems.

I found this one now, I assume that is the content that got installed with the DIM. (can I delete it?... its 11Gb wasted on a SSD).

My Content is in the Studio -> My Library

    I have also this:

And hexagon in x86 on D:/

I sadly don`t have a "browse to folder", so i have no idea where this get saved.

I mis-read your post, but the answer is still the same - you copied the content but not the database, and I guess you hadn't exported userdata on the old system and/or imported it on the new.

You can't browse to folder locations from categories as they are not folders on disc - they are a way to rganise content that is independent of the way it is organised on disc. You should, however, be able to browse to the location of the individual files.

hmmm well, whatever, I recreate it a bit... I still hope on a good script from manFriday so I can use his customLib, but he is gone for a while and he have a lot ToDo things on his list :(
