difference between render png and animation saved in png

Hello what is the difference between the png you get when you render a scene and the pngs from an animation?If any

    there is no difference they are the same file "Portable Network Graphic" format is a raster-graphics file-format that supports lossless data compression

    when you render animation in Daz Studio the default setting for rendering image series is PNG but you can change it to Jpg in the render setting I like the PNG for the reason sometimes I will animate characters with a transparent back ground so they can be places with transparence they can be used in other software like Photoshop or film editors like Adobe premier for layering . When saving in JPG images formats they will leave a white or black back ground making it hard to use in Overlays  where png will give you a transparent back ground which is better if you are using layering in a film editors for animationo or making .TUB, or PNG for photoshop layers. other wise PNG is a PNG no differences
