Each time I link up to IM it notes it wants to install DS 4.12 and related content i.e G8 and G3 starter stuff.
I already have DS 4.12 installed and I don't understand the starter G8/G3 stuff is there new meta data involved concerning the starter G8/G3 stuff.
I don't want to install things I don't need or will mess things up. Thanks

I think this is the ne Install Sets feature, as discussed in the first post here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/382131/daz-install-manager-dim-1-4-0-17-now-available/p1 . If so you can suppress it by unchecking the Show Automatically box - though if it says things you installed aren't (check it isn't saying one of the other parts of the set is not installed) then you may have a more deep-seated issue.
