You need to change some things

When I use the "new strand base hair" feature, it changes my model's arms from textured shaded to smooth shaded. What's up with that? 

You also need to make a "Free Transform" feature for hair. There should also be some type of photoshop built into Daz Studios in case someone wants to add beauty marks on their models.

Using the Strand Based hair Editor certainly shouldn't change the base figure - what are the steps you go through to get this?
