Tabs have vanished! Poof! lol

Hey peeps! :)

I'm sure I've just hit some strange button/key command/unintentional mouse gesture/etc etc.. But out of the blue, and I don't think I clicked anything - but you know how that is - the tabs on my left pane vanished! I can still switch between the things I need using the drop down menus at the top, but that's a hassle.. Wondering if anyone can tell me how to remedy this issue (like Shift+Ctrl+Y+M+Q+N+Up arrow while facing exactly 23 degrees north and hopping on one foot).

If you go to windows - workplace - select layout, you can set it back to default or if you have a saved layout select that.
