I just did a reinstall of Daz Studio. I installed it on my D drive and changed all my folders to in DIM to point to where it is. Everything that it installs loads fine except for the Genesis 8 figures. I get this message when I try to load one in DAZ.
Could not open file : /People/Genesis 8 Female/Genesis 8 Basic Female.duf
File does not exist.
I tried reinstalling through daz and even manually installing. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix?

Fixed it at least for the moment it seems to work. Here is what I had to do.
In smart content, I clicked uninstall then reinstalled it through smart content. I was able to Genesis 8 figures via smart content, however, if I went to my library the figures were not there.
Everything seems to be working for the moment. Hopefully anyone else that comes across this process will help.
This usually means that the database shows that the product was installed through DS (hence the right-click Unisntall command) but the files aren't there. Even if the DIM fiels are present, they won't be used if the Content Management System things there is a Connect install.
