    presently testing all the test paths i made so far

    this way i can find out when incompatibilities crept in

    for instance, using a name with capital letters in a "define" which had become a fail

    and using the "description" (comment) command which had become illegal

    good news ! the 113 sample extrusion path scripts have been fixed
    ( or in some cases the script has been made compatible with them )

    so in the next minutes, i'll package Beta 6 and post it here

    later this week i'll bring the user manual up to date

    it's still in Beta but the 113 sample extrusion path scripts ( which were in fact test files ) were tested and do produce interesring shapes

    this should reduce pain :)

    A sconce is a type of light fixture affixed to a wall in such a way that it uses only the wall for support, and the light is usually directed upwards, but not always

    Cool script looking forward to using it

    Some do let light out the bottom like the wall mounted bathroom light over the vanity

    True, but the ones I've seen for bathroom lights are just in reverse. IOW, they don't have light coming out the top. They're pointing downwards instead of upwards.

    for the technically inclined ( like Pisa tower architects )

    version Beta 6 doesnt include a HardTurnUp command but Beta 7 will
    in the meantime you can make one !

    i'll attempt to make arched ceilings (coutes) then i'll post the thing as a prop, and include the mcjBuilder Scripts that i used

    a picture frame for a picture of size 0

    hmm or 4 frame corners

    in fact it's horribly easier than my first attepts which involved tangent and cosinusses

    in your version of mcjBuilder you dont have the "arc00" extrusion profile
    but you could try using ... let me see ... classic_scotiaCove

    Beta 7 will include new profile curves and some corrections

    the keen eye may have noticed that the previous arch-ceilings had a UV map of length 0, since the extrusion nozzle was not moving
    but using one of the new curves and adding some movement, we get a usable UV map

    You're so right Richard. All the comments over the years about not being able to model in DS (except with simple primitives) will soon be a thing of the past, at the rate this is developing.
