The Runtime folder (and the Data folder) should never show in the Content Library - if they do the content is not isntalled correctly or there are nested content directories. DS knows those are "special" locations and hides them (along with the readme's folder)

  • OK, but aren't in content folder . . . and there are DS set up a my Library in the public documents folder and one in MY documents folder.

If I can't access the Runtime folder, then how do I use the Poser stuff installed in the runtime folder?  Trying to access Flinks meadows in the runtime/libraryprops folder

Nevermind . . . found them in the Poser Format My Library . . .

You're not supposed to see the Runtime folder because D|S will (if your content settings are correct) show the contents of the Runtime folder. I think it's a holdover from the way Poser sees its content locations.

  • Poser was so easy compared to this DAZ stuff

In this case they behave the same - you select the folder that holds the Runtime folder and you see only certain folders within the /Runtime/Libraries folder inside the application
